ABOUT
Tiffany Davis
M.S. CCC-SLP
Hi, I am so glad you are here! My name is Tiffany Davis. I am a certified speech language pathologist and the owner of Wildflower Kids. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-4, from The University of North Texas. Then I began my career as an elementary school teacher in Plano ISD where I taught Kindergarten for 2 years and 1st grade for 1 year. After I left teaching, I went on to obtain my Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas, where I graduated with a 4.0. While attending graduate school, I interned at Children's Medical Center of Dallas in their outpatient and inpatient programs. I also interned at Plano Pediatric Imaging, where I performed Modified Barium Swallow Studies to assess swallowing function in children. I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from, and am an active member of, the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
I have been an SLP since 2013. I have experience as a speech language pathologist in both Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) and pediatric private practice. Within these settings, I have worked with children exhibiting a wide variety of speech, language and feeding disorders. I am a mother of two small children myself and I feel that being a mother has made me a much better therapist. I believe that parent coaching is a vital part of providing exceptional therapy, so that each parent feels empowered with strategies that they can implement at home to help their child throughout the week. I also believe that children learn best when they are having fun, so I strive to use play and the individual interests and aptitudes of each child to help them engage in each therapy session. Helping children learn to communicate with their families and build a love for eating is something I am very passionate about. I truly cherish my role as an SLP, and I would love to be a part of your family's journey to help your child reach their full potential.
