WELCOME.

At Wildflower Kids, it is our mission to help your child reach their full potential by offering the highest quality of personalized pediatric speech and feeding therapy. In therapy, we target your child's specific areas of weakness within play-based therapy activities and functional daily routines that are fun and engaging, so that your child is motivated throughout the session. Our therapy is family-centered because family involvement is a crucial part of communication and feeding skill development. While working directly with your child, we also teach and empower you, the caregiver, to engage and challenge your children by carrying over therapy techniques into your home environment. At Wildflower Kids, we customize our therapy approach based on your child’s developmental level and interests. Whether your child is struggling with their communication skills or with mealtime, it’s our goal to meet your child where they are and build on their strengths.

OUR APPROACH

CHILD-LED The best therapy outcomes are achieved when we follow our children's lead and adapt our sessions to their interests. We always strive to provide flexibility, creativity and a willingness to be silly, so that your child is comfortable and engaged.

FAMILY-CENTERED As parents and caregivers, you know your children better than anyone else and you spend the most time with your child. You are vital partners in a successful speech, language or feeding therapy program.

EVIDENCE-BASED We strive to provide therapy approaches that are proven to be effective. We collaborate with colleagues, attend seminars about innovative therapy strategies and continue learning, in order to provide the highest level of service for our clients.

"Wildflowers are the loveliest of all because they grow in uncultivated soil, in those hard, rugged places where no one expects them to flourish. They are resilient in ways a garden bloom could never be. People are the same, the most exquisite souls are those who survive where others cannot. They root themselves, along with their companions, wherever they are, and they thrive."  -Micheline Ryckman
